Life West Nebraska Faculty Spotlight:  Dr. Luye Yang


Dr. Luye’s journey weaves together his upbringing across Asia, Europe, and Nebraska with his professional accomplishments in chiropractic care. After studying at the University of Illinois and the National University of Health Sciences, he began his practice in Lincoln, Nebraska, where his global perspective and holistic approach quickly earned him a reputation as a compassionate practitioner. Now a happy member of Life Chiropractic College West, Dr. Luye continues to advance his field while balancing a fulfilling personal life with his wife Dora, their two children, Sebastian and Maximilian, and an expected new addition to their family. His career and family life reflect a dedication to healing, education, and the rich tapestry of his diverse experiences. Passionate about travel and camping, Dr. Luye loves to explore new places and always ensures the whole family joins in on the adventures. His life reflects a deep commitment to health, continuous learning, and the joy of shared experiences.

-Travel places  Likes: Places with great food, fun for kids, and great views! Camping at Yellowstone is great fun!  Dislikes: Places that are too hot! 

-Food – Likes: Sashimi, soused herring (Dutch pickled fish), offal.    Dislikes: Salt on fruit.

-Weather or season – Likes:  Winter  Dislikes: Nebraska summers!

-Candy – Likes: Black licorice, gummy bears.  Dislikes: Smarties and Tootsie Rolls!

-TV show –  Likes: No Reservations, Bizarre Foods!   Dislikes: Kardashians!

-Adjustment type – Likes: Diversified all day!   Dislikes: Nothing, I should learn more techniques!

-Refreshment - Likes: Tamarind Juice   Dislikes: Gatorade
