A new look & feel for Life West's weekly newsletter (and some processes in the background to make it easier to manage)
It's so shiny!
As you've hopefully noticed, The VOICE has gotten a bit of a facelift.
We all get lots of emails. I don't know about you, but I don't want to have to read through multiple paragraphs to find a small tidbit of information that was important to me.
A priority for The VOICE 3.0 was to boil the newsletter down into bite-sized chunks – headlines & clickable images. Ultimately, we want you, the reader, to quickly be able to skim through, find what's important to you, and click "Read More" where it makes sense to you.
The back-end got an upgrade as well
One of the other major goals of this relaunch was to make The VOICE more simple to put out each week and to make it easier to collaborate with contributors throughout the school. Since The VOICE now acts as a blog (with a weekly round-up email going out on Mondays), staff, faculty, student council, clubs and others can request contributor access, create their own post, and they'll automatically go out in the following week's edition of The VOICE.
There's a longer form writeup on the process here, but in a nutshell, the process of creating a VOICE post is super straightforward.
If you've got something compelling to share, don't hesitate to request to become a contributor. We'd love your help communicating all of the things that make Life West so great!
Have thoughts, comments, questions or otherwise? Don't hesitate to shoot us an email at marketing@lifewest.edu. We'd love to hear from you.
Thanks, everyone!
