Below is some basic information about either option:
Make-up Final Exam (you missed your exam)
- OAA petition must be submitted within 5 business days of the exam date (located in the ASC tile in Brightspace, My Lifewest student dashboard, or QR codes around campus).
- Sanctioned petitions are awarded for approved and properly documented reasons only
- Students allowed up to 2 unsanctioned petitions during their entire time at LCCW ($40 fee applies)
- Once student is notified their petition is processed, must complete the assessment in the Testing Center within 5 business days
Retake Final Exam (you failed your exam)
- Fall 2025 lecture exam retakes occur on Friday, 12/19 ONLY
- It must be mathematically possible for students to pass the class with a retake exam
- Monday and Tuesday retakes are from 8am-10am
- Wednesday and Thursday retakes are from 11am-1pm
- If students have 2 or more exams to retake, they must start at 8am
- Students must pay the $100 fee prior to the retake (can’t be paid for with financial aid)
- Students must show a screenshot of their failed lecture exam
- Students cannot do a retake on a make-up final exam
- IF STUDENTS ARE 15 OR MORE MINUTES LATE, THEY MAY NOT RETAKE THEIR FINAL EXAM
