On Tuesday of finals week, the Health Center proved once again that they know how to celebrate! Health Center administration, faculty and staff, including the awesome MSDI residents, came together in festivity and fellowship, toasting to the culmination of an awesome year, and hopes for continued prosperity and success into 2025.
Dr. Goodwin showed up BIG TIME, providing all sorts of beautiful holiday decorations, setting it all up with Dr. Clum, and most impressive of all, making by hand intricate party favors for each and every attendee, as well as an impressive "cake" that held all the prizes.
A Jingle & Mingle bingo game got everyone up and chatting - shout out to winners Dr. Buonopane and Dr. Shortz - and a Christmas Movie Emoji game had everyone stumped! Grand prize for that game went to Dr. Rangel who came up with 15/17 of the movie titles; Dr. Murillo, Dr. Francis and Ajay also got some "almost, but not quite" prizes!
Dr. McCallister took his joke skills from the hallway to the stage with a standup routine that had everyone rolling - guess who's booking gigs across Life West now? He's mastered the loving, (mostly) politically correct roast for sure!
The final game included each table picking one person to be their "Christmas tree" and decorating them accordingly! Hamlet, Dr. DBell, Dr. Rangel and Dr. Buonopane were amazing Christmas trees, and this department has some mad creativity.
While the music and food and games and prizes and jokes were all a great way to celebrate, the biggest gift of all is this incredible team that works hard every single day to make a huge difference here at Life West. Feeling proud and grateful for each and every one of them this holiday season!
