Last week at Life West Nebraska, the campus was alive with creativity and joy as faculty members participated in a spirited pumpkin painting contest! Students took part in the fun by voting for their favorite designs, showcasing the artistic talents of our faculty and fostering a sense of community. The event brought everyone together, and Dr. Sarah Gaughan took home the coveted title of pumpkin painting champion!
In addition to the pumpkin fun, we celebrated an exciting announcement from Dani Willett our Admissions and Recruitment representative—she revealed that she is expecting a baby girl! This wonderful news was met with cheers and excitement from the community, and everyone gathered to enjoy delicious cake to mark the occasion. It’s moments like these that strengthen our bonds and create a supportive environment for all.
The festivities continued as Life West Nebraska participated in the annual Boo at the U event last Thursday. Our students had a fantastic time volunteering at the Life West Halloween Slot Machine, where participants spun for a chance to win three like candies! It was a great way to engage with the community, spread some Halloween cheer, and enjoy the festive spirit.
As we embrace the autumn season, we look forward to more fun activities and community events. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to these joyful experiences at Life West Nebraska! Stay tuned for more updates and celebrations in the weeks to come!
