OAA would like to remind everyone about an important change in our course scheduling due to the observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 20, 2025.
Monday, January 20th classes are rescheduled for Wednesday, January 22
To minimize disruption to the academic calendar and ensure that all students have the opportunity to receive the intended instruction, the schedule of classes that week has been adjusted.
The classes scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2025, will be rescheduled to meet on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at their regularly scheduled time. Please note that Wednesday courses will not meet during that week.
This adjustment is being made to ensure that Monday courses only miss one week of instruction, considering our two holiday Mondays during the winter quarter. We understand that schedule changes can impact students and instructors alike, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
Two-Week Spring Break Reminder
Second, we would also like to remind the community that the Spring Break following the Winter 2025 quarter will be a two-week break instead of the usual one week. The Spring Break will run March 24, 2025 through April 4, 2025. The first day of Spring 2025 will be April 7, 2025. The change is being done to realign the academic calendar, so start and end dates of the quarters do not fall on holidays.
