Summer quarter is off to a sun-sational start here at Life West Nebraska! ☀️ Students were welcomed back this week with multiple events, plenty of sunshine, and lots of reasons to smile.
A huge shoutout goes to our 8th quarter students who completed their very first Clinical Entrance Exams on campus. Clinical faculty from the Hayward campus were blown away by how sharp and prepared our students were — especially during their Abdomen and Thorax exams, where they truly knocked it out of the park! ⚾ On Thursday, they wrapped up the radiology portion of their clinic entrance, bringing them one step closer to providing care in the Nebraska Health Center.
Thursday also brought some sweet treats and summer vibes thanks to Bellevue University’s Summer Fair! The Life West family cooled off with Frios popsicles while soaking in a beautiful afternoon outdoors. 🍧
Friday, we kept the energy going with our quarterly Activities Fair. Students explored all the ways to get involved on campus — from long-standing clubs to brand new ones like The Pediatric Experience Club and the Motion Palpation Club, which is gathering interest now!

- Discovery Day is right around the corner! Be sure to swing by the Mix & Mingle on Friday during the 9:20 break. This is a great chance to meet prospective students and share why you LOVE 💙 Life West Nebraska!
- The State Connect Club will be hosting several lunch & learns this quarter featuring guest speakers.
- Seminar is bringing FOUR dynamic, in-person speakers to campus this quarter: Dr. Cory Campbell, Dr. Lynn Gerner, Dr. Lisa Geiger, and Dr. Laurel Griffin!
