Tips for Using the Life West Phone System

To access your voicemail from off-site:

1. Dial 510-780-4599.
2. Press 9, followed by your four-digit extension. For example, if your extension is 2820, you would dial 92820.
3. Enter your security code.
4. To hear any new messages, press 4.

To record an outgoing message (on-site):

1. Dial 8000 from your extension.
2. Press four zeros (0000) when prompted for a security code.
3. Follow all prompts to configure your voicemail box.
4. When you hear a message like, “ Great! Your new voicemail box is now set up…,” you are done.

To check messages (on-site):

1. Dial 8000 from your extension.
2. Enter your security code.
3. From your phone, hit the triangle button under the word “NEW” on the screen. Once you press the button, messages will play.

To forward a call (on-site):

1. Press *, followed by the number 5, followed by the extension you wish to forward the call to.
2. To cancel forwarding, press #, followed by the number 5.
