G Suite Tip: Talk Using Your Voice

To type using your voice in Google Docs, first click “tools,” then “voice typing.” Click “allow” to allow this feature, and you’ll see a gray microphone appear on the left side of your Google document. Select your chosen language from the drop-down, and once you click the icon, it will change to an orange microphone. Click it, then start talking normally, making sure to speak at a good volume and as clearly as possible. Google Docs will then begin to type your spoken words.
