The Employee Activity Committee hosted a special appreciation gathering in the Staff Lounge, where faculty and staff enjoyed fresh coffee, pastries, and time to pause and reconnect with one another. As part of the celebration, we invited everyone to participate in our **Kindness in Action** activity by writing thoughtful cards and compliments to colleagues. Dozens of messages were shared, each one reflecting the gratitude, encouragement, and teamwork that make Life West such a special place to work. These heartfelt notes will continue to brighten days across campus long after the event has passed. Our celebration also extended to the **Health Center**, where additional treats, coffee, and kindness cards were delivered to ensure our HC team felt equally recognized and appreciated. Their smiles and warm responses were a wonderful highlight of the day. Thank you to everyone who participated, contributed a message, or simply took a moment to spread kindness throughout the day. Your acts—big or small—help strengthen our community and reflect the values we’re proud to uphold at Life West. We look forward to continuing these moments of connection and appreciation throughout the year.   ![20251113_101023](https://voice.lifewest.edu/hs-fs/hubfs/20251113_101023.jpg?width=301&height=644&name=20251113_101023.jpg)![20251113_094618](https://voice.lifewest.edu/hs-fs/hubfs/20251113_094618.jpg?width=298&height=638&name=20251113_094618.jpg)![20251113_094803](https://voice.lifewest.edu/hs-fs/hubfs/20251113_094803.jpg?width=297&height=636&name=20251113_094803.jpg)   Stay Updated ## Other Recent Updates from The VOICE [![](https://voice.lifewest.edu/hubfs/Dave%20Khuu.jpg)](https://voice.lifewest.edu/life-west-alumnus-dr.-dave-khuu-recognized-by-marquis-whos-who) [President's Office](https://voice.lifewest.edu/tag/presidents-office), [Bellevue Campus](https://voice.lifewest.edu/tag/bellevue-campus), [Hayward Campus](https://voice.lifewest.edu/tag/hayward-campus) ### [Life West Alumnus Dr. Dave Khuu Recognized by Marquis Who's Who](https://voice.lifewest.edu/life-west-alumnus-dr.-dave-khuu-recognized-by-marquis-whos-who) June 27, 2026 Congratulations to Life Chiropractic College West alumnus Dr. Dave Khuu (DC '00) on being recognized by Marquis Who's...
