Last Thursday, November 13, 2025, our Life West community came together to celebrate World Kindness Day—a global reminder of the power small gestures can have in creating connection, compassion, and positivity.
The Employee Activity Committee hosted a special appreciation gathering in the Staff Lounge, where faculty and staff enjoyed fresh coffee, pastries, and time to pause and reconnect with one another.
As part of the celebration, we invited everyone to participate in our Kindness in Action activity by writing thoughtful cards and compliments to colleagues. Dozens of messages were shared, each one reflecting the gratitude, encouragement, and teamwork that make Life West such a special place to work. These heartfelt notes will continue to brighten days across campus long after the event has passed.
Our celebration also extended to the Health Center, where additional treats, coffee, and kindness cards were delivered to ensure our HC team felt equally recognized and appreciated. Their smiles and warm responses were a wonderful highlight of the day.

Your acts—big or small—help strengthen our community and reflect the values we’re proud to uphold at Life West.
