Campus Life after Covid

Prior to summer break, Alameda County advised they are fully aligned with the state reopening guidelines. Over the last three weeks, we have returned the campus to normal capacity. All classrooms, technique rooms and labs, Learning Commons, Café au Life, gymnasium, fitness center, student lounge, nap room/quiet lounge, and other spaces are fully functioning. All external access doors are available for entry.

But not everything is back to normal. As a healthcare facility, the Health Center will continue to require that its interns, faculty, staff and patients wear masks until further notice, independent of vaccination status. Remember to err on the side of caution when deciding to come to the college if you are symptomatic. CalOSHA guidance is that unvaccinated individuals should wear masks when inside shared spaces so please respect the choices of individuals if they wish to either wear or not wear masks.

Welcome back!
