On Friday, May 8th, the Staff Lounge was transformed into a vibrant and welcoming flower bar as faculty and staff gathered for our Mother’s Day Flower Arranging Event hosted by the Employee Activity Committee.
Filled with fresh blooms, laughter, snacks, and meaningful conversations, the event served as a beautiful reminder of the importance of taking time to connect with one another and celebrate the incredible community we share at Life West.
Employees had the opportunity to hand-select flowers and create custom bouquets for themselves, their mothers, or special mother figures in their lives. From colorful arrangements to heartfelt conversations shared over bouquet wrapping, the room was filled with creativity, appreciation, and genuine moments of joy.
While inspired by Mother’s Day, the event represented something even bigger, community, gratitude, and wellness. In the middle of busy schedules and daily responsibilities, it created space for employees to step away, recharge, and simply enjoy each other’s company. Whether attendees stayed for a few minutes or the entire event, the positive energy throughout the afternoon was undeniable.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the volunteers and Employee Activity Committee members who helped bring this event to life. From setting up the flower bar to assisting with bouquet wrapping and supporting attendees throughout the event, your time and dedication made a meaningful impact and helped create such a memorable experience for our community.
