Life West Nebraska Student Council Raises $5,000 at Inaugural Golf Tournament!
Last weekend, under clear skies and abundant sunshine, the Life West Nebraska Student Council hosted their first-ever Golf Tournament at Eagle Hills Golf Course. The event was a fantastic success, raising an impressive $5,000 to support student activities and initiatives on campus!
Golfers enjoyed a full day on the green, playing 18 challenging holes amidst the beautiful landscape of Eagle Hills. Participants were treated to a boxed lunch and had the chance to engage in a variety of exciting activities throughout the day.
In addition to the main tournament, the event featured fun and engaging hole games that kept the energy high and the competition friendly. Highlights included:
- 50/50 Split the Pot: Players took their shot at winning half the pot while supporting a great cause.
- Spin the Wheel for a Club: Golfers added a twist to their game by spinning a wheel to determine the club they had to use for an entire hole.
- Roll the Dice to Tee Off: Participants rolled the dice to find out whether they would tee off from the Red or Yellow tee box, adding an element of chance to their strategy.
The day was filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and a shared spirit of community, all while raising funds to enhance the student experience at Life West Nebraska. The success of this event reflects the dedication and enthusiasm of the Student Council, who worked tirelessly to bring it all together.
A huge thank you goes out to everyone who participated, volunteered, or donated to the event. Your support helps Life West Nebraska continue to provide an outstanding learning environment and opportunities for our students to grow both personally and professionally.
