CalChiro is committed to the inclusion of women in our membership and in the chiropractic profession as a whole. The CalChiro Women's Committee is offering a $250 Scholarship to one female student CalChiro member from each California Chiropractic College for the year 2026. These scholarships are intended to support the inclusion of women chiropractic students with the intention of mentoring them during the monthly Chiro Women's Committee meetings.
Dr. Robert L. Dark was a dedicated champion of chiropractic and patient care. Through leadership roles with the California Chiropractic Association (CalChiro) and the American Chiropractic Association, he helped advance the profession’s voice in health care policy at the state and federal levels. He also chaired key government relations and political action committees. This scholarship honors his legacy of leadership, advocacy, and service to chiropractic. One scholarship per calendar year of $1,000 is offered by the California Chiropractic Foundation. It is a merit-based scholarship designed to reward California residents who 1) desire to make chiropractic a career, 2) are enrolled in a Council on Chiropractic Education-accredited college of chiropractic and 3) are active in governmental affairs activities of the California Chiropractic Association or another state or national chiropractic association.
