Hope You Enjoyed Your Labor Day!
We hope you all had a fantastic Labor Day weekend and took some time to relax and recharge. Whether you stayed close to home or ventured out to explore, the Omaha area has so much to offer!
Maybe you spent the day at the Omaha Zoo, discovering new exhibits and enjoying the wildlife, or perhaps Lauritzen Gardens was your escape, with its beautiful seasonal blooms and peaceful walking paths. You might have visited a local apple orchard, picking fresh apples and savoring the start of the fall season.
For those who love the outdoors, the Wabash Trail could have been the perfect spot for a bike ride or hike, surrounded by nature. The Omaha Labor Day Parade was also a vibrant display of the city’s hardworking spirit, featuring lively floats, marching bands, and community groups honoring the contributions of workers (maybe you even spotted Dr. Jen walking with Local 22). Or, perhaps you simply enjoyed some downtime by the pool, soaking up the last of the summer sun.
Whatever you did, we hope it was just what you needed. As we head into the final stretch of the quarter, remember that Finals Week is just around the corner. This is your time to focus, review, and put all your hard work to the test. You've come so far, and the end is in sight—let’s finish strong!
