HEADS UP FROM THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE!
- In the next couple of weeks students with federal loans (excluding first quarter students) will receive an email from Life West (LifeWest@collegecostmeter.org) with the subject line Your Loan History/Repayment Info – Please Review.
- The email will have important information regarding your federal student loans. It will include estimated information on your borrowing at Life West and your total aggregate balances including interest accrual (from all colleges). Although the email will provide a repayment example utilizing a 10-year repayment plan, please keep in mind the majority of graduate students select an income driven repayment plan (lower payments/longer repayment period).
- Remember, you can find your current loan balances at https://studentaid.gov/ (log-in and view dashboards/links) and utilize the Loan Simulator at https://studentaid.gov/loan-simulator/ . Please contact the financial aid office if you have any questions or concerns.
