Gratitude:
As the days grow shorter and the holiday spirit fills the air, Life West Nebraska is embracing this season of gratitude with a variety of upcoming events to bring our campus community together. From festive gatherings to giving back to those in need, there's so much to look forward to as we close out the year. Throughout November, students, faculty and staff shared heartfelt messages on the gratitude board, expressing their appreciation and thankfulness.
Upcoming Events:
Faculty and Staff Holiday Party – Monday, November 25
The season kicks off with our Faculty and Staff Holiday Party. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our hardworking team to come together, reflect on the accomplishments of the year, and enjoy an evening of camaraderie. With delicious food, opportunity to participate in holiday decorating, and perhaps a surprise or two, this event is sure to set the tone for a joyful holiday season.
Student Friendsgiving Potluck – Tuesday, November 26
Our students will gather the following day for the Student Friendsgiving Potluck. This cherished tradition allows students to share their favorite holiday dishes, celebrate their diverse culinary traditions, and strengthen the bonds of friendship that make Life West Nebraska feel like a second family.
Thanksgiving Break – November 28-29
The campus will take a pause to observe Thanksgiving, giving everyone a chance to spend quality time with loved ones, recharge, and reflect on all we have to be thankful for this year.
Faculty Service at Sienna Francis House – Thursday, December 5
As we move into December, our faculty will exemplify the spirit of service by volunteering at the Sienna Francis House. By serving lunch to those in need, we continue to live out the values of compassion and community that are at the heart of our mission.
