At Life Chiropractic College West, service is more than something we do—it's a reflection of who we are. Guided by our values to give, to do, to love, and to serve from our own abundance, we're excited to invite our faculty and staff to participate in two Community Service Days this summer!
Whether you're passionate about protecting our local environment or helping fight food insecurity, these volunteer opportunities are a chance to make a meaningful impact while connecting with your Life West colleagues outside of the workplace.
🌿 Keep Hayward Clean
Help us beautify the city we proudly call home by partnering with the City of Hayward for a community cleanup. Together, we'll spend the morning helping keep our neighborhoods clean while enjoying fresh air, teamwork, and the satisfaction of giving back.

🍎 Volunteer at the Alameda County Community Food Bank
Join us for an afternoon of service at the Alameda County Community Food Bank, where volunteers will sort, package, and prepare food for distribution to individuals and families throughout Alameda County. Every box packed and every item sorted helps support neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Community Service Days are a wonderful opportunity to:

Employees may participate in one or both events.
A Few Reminders
- Supervisor approval is required if volunteering during scheduled work hours.
- Both events qualify for paid volunteer service hours (up to 16 hours annually).
- HR will record approved volunteer hours following each event.
