Dr. Harrison Inspires Students with Research & Real-World Application

  • May 27, 2025

This past Friday, the Life West Nebraska campus welcomed renowned chiropractic researcher and clinician Dr. Deed Harrison for an engaging seminar that energized students and faculty alike.

As the leading voice behind Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP), Dr. Harrison delivered a powerful presentation backed by years of peer-reviewed research, demonstrating the measurable changes CBP protocols can create in spinal structure and function.

Throughout the seminar, students explored how spinal alignment directly impacts nervous system integrity—and how integrating CBP protocols into their future practices can help drive long-term, evidence-based outcomes for patients. The session was rich with clinical pearls, emphasizing both the “why” and the “how” behind spinal correction techniques.

Dr. Harrison’s visit marks just the beginning of CBP’s deeper integration into the curriculum at Life West Nebraska. We are thrilled to announce that he will return this Fall Quarter to co-lead the Advanced CBP Technique Elective, an intensive weekend format course offered over two weekends. Dr. Harrison will join instructor Dr. Linn Erickson, to provide students with hands-on training in spinal analysis, traction setups, postural rehabilitation, and structural correction techniques.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to learn directly from two of the profession’s most respected CBP experts. Whether you're passionate about biomechanics, spinal correction, or want to ground your future practice in the latest chiropractic research, this elective will elevate your skillset and clinical confidence.

Stay tuned for Fall registration details—and get ready to take your understanding of spinal health to the next level!
