Last Friday, Life West Nebraska welcomed prospective students to campus for a powerful and inspiring Discovery Day—one that marked the final on-campus appearance of Dr. Ron Oberstein and Dr. Mary Oberstein in their official roles.
Their presence added a meaningful touch to a day dedicated to exploring the heart of chiropractic and the Life West mission.
Attendees were fully immersed in the Life West experience, getting a firsthand look at what it means to be part of this transformative journey. One of the highlights of the day was the student panel, where current students shared their typical daily routines, offered advice, and spoke candidly about their own paths to chiropractic school. Their honesty and enthusiasm made a lasting impression on everyone in the room.
The event concluded with a powerful local DC panel, showcasing a wide range of practice styles and experiences. From high-volume family practices to specialized techniques, prospective students had the unique opportunity to ask real-world questions and envision their own futures in the profession.
As the day wrapped up, several prospective students stood up to share what brought them to Life West and what chiropractic means to them. It was a beautiful reminder that the journey to becoming a chiropractor starts with a clear “why.”
