Unlocking Early Hands-On Experience: Embrace Technology Training Center and Technique Open Lab Times
At Life Chiropractic College West, we understand the importance of early hands-on experience for our students. That's why we're excited for students to utilize the Technology Training Center (TTC) and Technique Open Lab times. These sessions are designed to provide students with the opportunity to hone their skills under the supervision of our experienced DC staff doctors.
Connecting Across Campuses: Hayward Livestream
Starting this quarter, students have been able to connect with Hayward TTC interns from 11:30-11:50 AM every Tuesday. Through a livestream feed between both TTCs, you’ll have the chance to check out Hayward’s space and connect with TTC techs and students from California. This ongoing interaction will continue through Week 10, offering a valuable opportunity to share knowledge and experiences across campuses.
To maximize the benefits, the TTC will remain open for the full lunch hour on Tuesdays for our students. This gives everyone ample time to practice techniques, ask questions, and collaborate with peers.
Open TTC Times
Here are the current open TTC times for this quarter:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays: During lunch 11:30-12:40
- Tuesdays: 5:00-6:00 PM
We are committed to providing as many opportunities as possible and will be adding more open times as we can. TTC Open lab can be monitored by TTC lab technicians. Please make sure any Peer Reviews are observed by the DC on staff or the TTC lab technician.
Technique Open Lab
Students that have passed their Diversified 1 Midterm practical are able to utilize Technique Open Lab.
Current Open lab for Summer Quarter with Dr. Jess Rivera:
- Wednesday: 2:00-2:50 PM in the Health Center room 4107
- Friday: 11:40-12:45 PM in the Technique room 4104
